Artist Samapeap Tarr, better known by his street-moniker as ‘Peap,’ is a native Kiwi and member of the Angry Woebots Army of Snipers crew, whose bold art has made considered waves in the street art scene. He has exhibited his unique art around the world – from the U.S. to Australia – and garnered international respect and acclaim for his signature use of black ink and paints on white mediums, creating a stark, bold look that aims to simultaneously coexist and contrast. With his strong foothold in the Western world, Peap has now set his sights on the Southeast Asian region; he now operates out of Phnom Penh Cambodia, involving himself in a new project with Silent Stage and Good Krama, “hoping to…[make] new and exciting projects happen on the creative level every day and to follow through with [his] goals and ambitions.” Here, HYPEBEAST has an exclusive look into Peap’s personal sketchbook.
