During the Art Basel festivities in Miami late last year, creative collective FriendsWithYou teamed up with Signed And Numbered to introduce the Space Gem as part of its “Inner Space, the Secrets of the Unknown” showing. Comprised of 52 wooden triangular prism puzzles, the Space Gem is a “transmutation device engineered to empower its user,” with a number of colors representing a range of emotions. Founded by Lorenzo Ragioniery and Evan Gruzis, Signed and Numbered is a company that creatively develops artists’ body of work by means of producing specialized collaborative editions. For those interested, this novelty piece is strictly limited to 12 units, with availability here.
