After taking a glimpse into the creation of the legendary Pirelli Calendar, today we’re given a comprehensive look into the 2013 edition as photoed by Steve McCurry. The well-executed photo set comes across in an elegant fashion with perhaps one of the most notable images taking shape with Adriana Lima appearing as the first ever pregnant Pirelli Calendar model. While the 2012 iteration took a decidedly more NSFW approach with a topless Kate Moss and Lara Stone taking center stage, the 2013 Calendar deviates from tradition with each model fully clothed. All of the models were chosen for deeper reasons than their good looks as consideration was placed upon the merit of their social work as well.
