Louis Vuitton, The Birth of Modern Luxury: Updated Edition Book by Louis Vuitton

Though its history is by no means fully written, Louis Vuitton and Les Éditions de La Martinière

Though its history is by no means fully written, Louis Vuitton and Les Éditions de La Martinière will be releasing an updated edition of Louis Vuitton, The Birth of Modern Luxury next month. The book was originally published in 2005; however, its 10 chapters have now been reworked to more accurately reflect the luxury brand’s present day status and evolution. Documenting the history of the Maison, from its creation in 1854 to 2012, the book will include an account of the founder’s background along with an exploration of the label’s current relationships with the worlds of art, sport and culture. The updated edition of Louis Vuitton, The Birth of Modern Luxury — an exhaustive account of the brand that turned traveling into an art — will be available in limited editions exclusively at Louis Vuitton stores.
