A new project in Basal, Switzerland called The Electronic House of Arts is designed to explore the relationship between art and technology by reflecting on the social, economic and political aspects of our daily use of electronic devices. In an inaugural exhibition entitled “Together in Electric Dreams. Absent Presence,” the space will showcase works by several artists including !Mediengruppe Bitnik, Stefan Baltensperger & David Siepert, Kit Galloway & Sherrie Rabinowitz, Jonathan Harris & Sep Kamvar, Esther Hunziker, Markus Kison, Oliver Laric, Marc Lee and Unsworn Industries. The exhibition is scheduled to last from now through September 18, 2011.
