West Hollywood gallery Prism is hosting a new exhibition entitled “Trophies” which displays a number of gold sculptures and paintings from Ryan McGinness’ “Women” series. The installation features deconstructed figures that have been recombined to create gold-painted aluminum sculptures in the image of the female form. Surrounding the sculptures is a series of wall paintings which serve as a point of reference for reading the trophies. The exhibit will be on display from May 26 through July 16, 2011.
