Japanese pop artist Keiichi Tanaam recently presented a new series of works for Art Hong Kong 2011. Featured were two paintings and a sculpture titled Golden Shangri-la, Buddhist Cross and the Red Bridge and Golden Skeleton. All feature reworkings of his iconic characters and unique aesthetic, while at the same time incorporating icons such as Astroboy and Mickey Mouse. The installation will be on display through May 29, 2011.
