Wesley Pentz, better known as the artist Diplo, has been a prominent producer in the music industry. The producer has become famous for unique sounds such as M.I.A’s “Paper Planes” and Kanye West’s “Flashing Lights.” A man of many talents, Diplo also founded and manages his own record company and amongst other professions with an unorthodox background, having also worked as a school teacher in Philadelphia. 128 Beats Per Minute follows the producer through his travels across the world from Jamaica to Tek Aviv. Photographed by Shane McCauley, the book takes readers on a journey to see the tastes and travels that have inspired a very unique talent. The book will be published via Rizzoli.
