Mr. Brainwash Artist Invitation 2011 Art Show
Never one to do something in traditional fashion, Mr. Brainwash has announced his largest and most

Never one to do something in traditional fashion, Mr. Brainwash has announced his largest and most ambitious Los Angeles exhibition to date. Set to open for artist installation on October 9-October 12, 2011, the exhibition will continue to showcase works that immortalize popular culture and celebrate positivity. But this time, Mr. Brainwash will be opening the gates for artists around the globe by offering over 20,000 sq. ft. to showcase donated works, including art from Los Angeles-based The Seventh Letter crew. In Mr. Brainwash’s Artist Invitation 2011 Art Show, artists from all genres will be invited to have their work cover the walls, ceiling and floors. Beginning on Sunday, October 9, the space will be open for three days for artists to install their work. The invitation is also open for artists worldwide to submit their work through mail, as well as in person. Each artist is allowed a maximum space of 4 ft. x 6 ft. Art submitted through the mail should be on paper, as it will be applied with paste, and should not contain nudity or profanity. Mr. Brainwash envisions the show to be a proper representation of the contemporary art world and thus, works will be on view for the duration of the exhibition and then will be destroyed on the final day. None of the work will be available for sale.
Mr. Brainwash’s Artist Invitation 2011 Art Show will span over 80,00 square feet of space on La Brea Avenue near Santa Monica Boulevard, and is expected to be open at the end of October.
