Canadian basketball sensation, and part-time New York bohemian Steve Nash first linked up with artist John Perry during a Nike commercial shoot in 2007. Nash took a liking to Perry’s work, and soon began to sit for an extended portrait that would take place in stages, over the course of three years. The portrait is given a unique quality due to the extended time in which it took to create, and both Nash and Perry were filmed and interviewed during the final sitting, enjoy!
